Album release date change
Fri 3rd Oct, 2008
Unfortunately, due to manufacturing delays, the release of Safe Trip Home has had to be moved back a couple of weeks. It will now be released on November 17th worldwide (November 18th in the US). We're really sorry about this (it's as frustrating for us as for you).
Anyway, to keep you going until then, we've added one of the album's absolute highlights - Grafton Street - to the music player. Click over on the right to hear it now.
The release date for Don't Believe In Love remains the same (CD/download both October 27th).

That gives Dido even less of a chance of having the most successful album of the year! It means we all have to wait another two weeks. Does this mean that Don't Believe in Love will be put back as well? |

Without promotion of DBIL and DIDO, the right thing is this delay.So please, change some other things too, like the artwork of Don't Believe In Love for example. 'Cos Dido deserves a HUGE COMEBACK and not this that the label is doing with her and her music... DBIL love is a great song, but without any promotion it won't be a sucessful track. PLEASE, DO SOMETHING THAT WE CAN CALL OF DIDO THING. |

What a pity that the STH release has been delayed. I hope it´s for the best and, as said on the former comments, Dido deserves a bigger promotion, since the album seems to be a music jewel and DBIL is a song that everyone would love and has to be "spread" all over the world!!!Best wishes, hope to see you in Argentina soon!! |

My God,. we are really goin' crazy...I've been looking for Dido's News for 4 years, everywhere, on this official website, on Wikipedia etc. and I don't really know how many times this album has been delayed! I hope this is REALLY THE LAST TIME! Luckily, you gave us at least the possibility to be listenin' to Grafton Street, and i have to say that it's impressively MOVING! Probably because I can play the flute too and I can feel like I was playin'it, while Dido did (as we could see in the video in the studio). I think it's a WONDERFUL song, the genre has changed but not her style and not her way to move her fans. Hope the album won't come even further...And, last, I join the others fans in askin' for a new cover for Don't believe in love. ^.^' |

Thats really very frustrating news..Dont have option but to wait...In between..."Grafton Street" ....AMAZING work...very great music...i dont how instruments are used...speciallly last few moments of song.. sound of recorder is simply touches the heart.....again simply great..DIDO your are best... |

Obviously a bit gutted album release has been delayed but it's been great to hear the preview of don't believe in love, look no further and now Grafton Street. All three singles heard have been so moving, so well written and it's been great to hear that voice again, but Grafton Street just sent shivers down my spine and gave me goosebumps all over...an absolute masterpiece and obviously one close to Dido's heart. Look forward to the rest of Safe Trip Home whenever it's ready - it'll so be worth the wait I'm sure. xxx |

Manufacturing problems? Pehaps is that Enya is releasing a new album too in november 11th?Well, we've been waiting 5 years for a new album, so 2 weeks more is nothing. I would like to know what Dido feels about the delay, surely she's the first one to be disappointed. |

Oh my god, this song has restored my fate in Dido. I can't believe that I doubted her talent because of this new direction I heard about. I think this new direction is byfar the bestttttttt of her WHOLE career. I'm not going to pretend it's not disappointing after all the other delays and false starts, but two weeks seems like a breeze compared to years! Grafton Street is strikingly beautiful. The solo at the end is heartbreaking. |

I new the others disc of her, and the songs are beautiful!! I love her!! I knew many people in Mexico that love the Dido's Music. Personally, I'm waiting the new disc since 5 years ago, to buy it. Now, I really would like to know, when the new disc will be in Mexico. I don't know, all about it. I ever have say that Dido is one os the best singer of the world. Her voice, the songs, she, all!! I have listened the new songs here, and are wonderful!! Really!! I love it! Thanks Dido to come back again!!
